Introduction
Unite Technologies Financial Service respects user privacy. This Policy explains what data Unite Technologies Trade Cockpit collects, how it is used, and the rights available to Users under GDPR-style principles and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), 2023.
Information Collected
Personal Information
- Name, email, mobile number, PAN reference (verification token only — full PAN is never stored).
Usage Data
- Pages visited, signals viewed, orders placed, time stamps, and feature interactions.
Device Information
- User-agent, screen size, language, time zone.
Cookies
- Session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for theme selection. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
Analytics
- Aggregated, anonymised metrics via the built-in analytics module. No PII is shared with analytics processors.
How Information is Used
- Authenticate the User and maintain a secure session.
- Generate, surface, and explain trade signals tailored to risk profile.
- Route orders to the connected broker via Broker Adapters.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Communicate service updates and respond to support requests.
Data Sharing
Data is shared only with: (a) the broker chosen by the User, strictly to fulfil orders; (b) infrastructure providers under DPA; (c) regulatory authorities when legally compelled.
Security Measures
- Bcrypt password hashing; broker API keys encrypted at rest.
- HTTPS-only transport with HSTS.
- Audit logging of every order.
Data Retention
Signals/recommendations: 24 months. Orders/audit: 7 years (SEBI). Inactive accounts: 18 months then anonymised.
User Rights
- Right to access, rectify, port, and erase personal data.
- Right to withdraw consent for marketing communications.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
Account Deletion
Request deletion via Portal → Profile → Delete Account or email support@investeq.in. Erasure completes within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
